Colts radio announcer -- I can't stand that guy!

I think the epitome of homerism on a local radio broadcast were the guys in the background of Gil and Geno. They would be clapping, hooting and hollering everytime the Pats made a big play. I think that they have since rectified that issue but it was embarrassing when it was happening.

Johnny Most was amazing. The guy sounded like he smoked about six packs every game. Brilliant announcer.

Agreed... I used to complain about that guy to WBCN management all the time... that loser RUINED some of the greatest calls in Patriots history with his howling and gaffawing in the background, it made Gil's calls sound bush-league. It was especially noticable on road games, where the home crowd wasn't there to drown him out. Great plays where it's especially apparent and annoying... Brady to Brown in Miami, the OT bomb touchdown, and also Willie's stop of Edge on 4th and 1 in Indy.

I was able to find out that he is the in-booth producer, and that the guy who used to run WBCN actually encouraged that loser to cheer like that, and thought it added to the calls. In 2005 a new studio producer took over the broadcasts, and promptly put a stop to it... I hope he shoved a sock down that guy's throat.
