Bench Newton!

Can you explain why he's so butthurt that BB drafted a QB last year and immediately had him as Brady's lone back up in 2019, but he's so happy with Newton then?

He also denies that there is a pandemic, which is creep city.
I never used the ignore option much until this year. He was one of the first to land there because of his obvious trolling and his denial of the pandemic now justifies my decision.

This thread and the Tom/Gronk one are being invaded by new members of my ignore list. I saved a lot of time by putting them there.

How about you find a post where I did such a thing - instead of fabricating things I said since you can’t handle what I’ve been telling you about your boy Stiddy and his future with this team.

It's like Stidham fans missed the Chiefs game and forget he's Hoyer's backup. Do you know how sad that is? Hoyer's ****in backup. Why the hell would you want him out there? lol.

I still believe in Cam, but our offense continues to suck. But we knew that last season. We gotta stop dumpster diving for receivers and search for these magical creatures called tight ends.

I'm so sick of the stupid ignorance of the "Cam's a leader" take. Who cares! How motivated is the offense when Cam can't operate it? He was horribly inaccurate on over a handful of passes - to wide open guys with potential for big gains. He stands there clueless for 5+ seconds and takes huge sacks. He throws a few bullets for completions to Meyers (and ONLY Meyers) per game, and everyone believes he's some hidden star waiting to breakout. It's a wasted year, and a doubly wasted year because they never gave the passing game a chance to even work on growing for next year. Huge failure of BB and his staff.

Again you have to understand that there’s a lot of delusional fans that think the team doesn’t have a myriad of problems besides QB and also want to believe that they won’t have to do the hard work of drafting a QB with a high value pick or paying someone a lot of money in free agency.

So there’s this entitled attitude that people deserve to see Stidham because they desperately hope they can avoid all that and lighting will strike and the team will have just miraculously had the real answer all along.

These are the same people thought he was the answer last off season and thought Brady was hurting us for not wanting to work with garbage and that Stidham would bring a better attitude. It’s desperation.

The Stid lovers are hilarious. They actually think the Patriots are missing out on a stud keeping that guy on the bench. And they actually think Bill isn’t smart enough to put him in and bench a guy they’re paying peanuts to if that were actually the case.

Pretty sure James White was calling out the Mike LB a few times. I don’t know if Cam didn’t know or what but I don’t recall seeing that happen.

If that happened, then bb has no choice but to put Newton on the bench!

Just send him to the passing specialist at 528 N MAIN ST, Leominster, MA 01453 - tell him he can wait on any bench to be seen.

Lol, there are no Stidhim fans, just people who want to see him fail or look mediocre

If he looks good/decent, Bill will look like more of a clown.
I hope he looks good against the Jets and then all his fans are forced to endure him all of next year

For the last faulking time, there are no Stidhim fans. Why do you choose to mischaractorize the argument for having him start? You debase yourself by not allowing for honest discussion.

You mean the way 99% of people in this thread are miscaracterzing me as thinking Cam is the answer and I’ve put up with it all thread. Hasn’t been an honest discussion from a certain side for quite awhile.

If people can have watched Stidham every time he’s taken the field and think he’s a better option, if they think that the coaching staff is wrong after two years of watching him, if they are going to push a complete fallacy that has never been true that you “need” to see someone get starting reps to see what you have and just moan for weeks about him, they deserve what will happen. It’s the most “I’m going to ignore all information and wish and hope for a fairytale” nonsense.

Yeah you have had people in this very said saying that Stidham has clearly been a better passer, that he 100% can’t be worse than Cam. Yeah that is fanboying. And the fact that it is ignoring everything we actually know just punctuates it.

Stid is not an NFL caliber QB. And there is no shortcut to finding a good QB in this league. Never was, never will be.

The next great Patriots QB that will take us back to the Super Bowl is not on the roster. Maybe not in the NFL, or in college, or even in high school yet.

Truth hurts.

Exactly.

So weird how "they would have won the KC game with Cam" turned into "we need to see what Stidham has" so quickly.
