One other positive...they FINALLY threw a pass to Harry that let him use his size and strength to make a play....ie. Let him do what he did better than any WR in college during his last two years at Az State. What a concept.

At this point I am thinking Cam will still be here next year because I don’t know what other team will want him.

If I had to predict it out.... Cam will be dirt cheap, we will probably draft a QB. Bill will likely want a vet on the squad while we develop a QB.

I could see something like a depth chart of

1. Cam with the intention of moving on to a 1st round draft pick after a few weeks unless Cam is playing lights out somehow.

2. The QB in waiting

3. Someone we kicked the tires on in free agency.

4. Stidham to finish out his contract and give him a chance to reinvent himself.

Why are we so down on stidham without giving him a decent chance to perform
He could be the worst qb but give him 2-3 full games . Its a win-win playing stidham... He performs we get our franchise QB, doesn't perform we get a better draft position .

What's the point of playing newton now... Nobody expected Gardner minshew or Mullens to perform . Stidham could be like them or shade better. U never know or he could become like dak...

They should beat Miami or Buffalo. That Jets game will be interesting. Not sure Bill lets them win it?...

If the Jets win 1 game do the drop to #2 in draft order? What's the tie breaker?

Stidham could be the QB, or he might not be. You need to play him with 1st team reps in practice. Also, QBs progress without play. So, you saw him throws picks in garbage time and you think he’s terrible now. That’s because you’re a dummy.

Cam makes horrible decisions, has no pocket presence and just terrible awareness and reads...BUT...this nightmare has to be blamed on a whole bunch of others:

1) BB and McDaniels- for assembling a terrible roster
2) The OL failed Cam Newton tonight....period
3) THe TE's are beyond awful
4) No #1 or even a #2 WR

With the showing cam has put forward this year, Bill would have to be a total TOTAL MORON to run with him next year.

Well putting tonight aside do we have on this team? (Long term)

The Onwenu find is huge. We should have a stabilized line for years enough if Wynn can shake off his injury woes.

Hope Harris isn’t hurt too bad. He looks like the RB1 for the foreseeable future. The rest of the offense is a mess. Desperately need weapons. Desperately need a QB.

Defensively JC should continue to be an amazing bargain. Dugger and Uche look promising. Still like Winovich too. Maybe Hightower does come back? A lot of work needs to be done, especially in the front seven.

Stidham is not a very good QB, not the future QB of this team, Bill clearly doesn’t think much of him, and probably not on the roster next year. Sorry if that offends you.
