Niners run that single wing and jet sweep concept as a core part of their offense and it really helps set up both the run and pass. The Patriots did that last year with Patterson and I think Harry was always intended as an Uber-Patterson, but for whatever reason they would only run those plays in the scripted portion of the game and then McDaniels was too afraid to do it later on. It's like McDaniels wants the form of a modern concept offense but is reticent to embrace the content wholeheartedly.

They are using a short passing game pretty well, but it doesn’t maximize their personnel.

Despite this year's Patriots having been deservedly eliminated, they probably would have gone into the half 10-10 at worst in this game and may have not given up that touchdown. Football's just kind of a dumb game because of single elimination playoffs. They shouldn't have won last year either.
