Quite a complement. Tomlinson and Owens will get pissed if they get ahold of this...

Ben Volin, of the Palm Beach Post, reports New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown is the best offensive player he has seen this year. "I think he's been outstanding. He's done a good job of in the running game of being patient. … He runs hard, he's hard to tackle, he's extremely durable, been a good outlet receiver, broken a lot of tackles, good job of converting a lot of third downs. … He's physical, he's a strong player, he's tough to handle. I haven't seen anybody play any better than him this year. To me, he's the best player we've seen on the offensive side of the ball," Belichick said.

lol, now hes just adding it in to owens and LT, but it just was siad to praise ronnie, not to disregard the other players...

I agree he is awesome He would easily become a top 5 player of mine if he was on the Pats.
Plus he bails my fantasy football team out week after week hopefully he doesn't run for more than 20 yds this week.
Screw fantasy when it's the real thing at stake.

Doesn't every team have at least one great player worthy of praise? Can anyone think of any team that doesn't?

through the first five seconds of thinking for an answer...

the falcons come up...and under further analyzing...i still cant come up with anything...

OT: I know. I'm just wondering? What is it about the pats @ miami? What's up with that? It just seems that no matter how good the pats are playing, the game at miami is almost always bitterly contested. NE is 33-47 all time. Last 7 years it's been a crapshoot every year.

Right now on paper it's EASY to see the pats are at least a 3 TD favorite. The spread is at 16.5 right now and, honestly? While I think the pats should easily cover, I don't feel good enough to bet on it. For me this is an off bet. I dunno - I can't explain it?

LOL! Neither can we. It's a weird thing down there. Odd things happen like when Mare missed a FG and Brady threw mucho ints, receivers running OOB without a call. Maybe Thomas and Taylor give them fits. I feel they'll win this game, but there's tredipation when they play there. (hey mods, we need a farticon)

Yea, the pats best win this game. If they lose, it's almost guaranteed it's the only game they lose. LOL. Conversely it's almost guaranteed it's the only game Miami wins.

That would be too ironic for words.

try praising a raider
or bengal

I think CJ and Whospinsyourmomma are excellent receivers. Now the Raiders, that's interesting. Sapp, no..Jordon, no..Gallery was a Belichick guy that was wrecked in Raiderville. I thought they should have started his career at LT. They've since moved him, but it's too late. You're right, there is no greatness on the Raiders.

Asomugha has potential. He's in a tricky situ but he's got skills.

I was going to mention him, but he isn't praise worthy to the extent that we're talking about. He does show skills. I didn't think there'd be a team without that A+ attention grabber. It will be fun to watch J-Mac if they ever start him. He looked clumsy at times at LSU. If he can overcome that there's a big entertainment factor in what his size and power can do.

Are you serious? What about Nnamdi Asomugha? He's the best corner back in the NFL not named Champ.

I still think Palmer, Johnson, Johnson and Houshmanzedah would have something to say for the Bengals.

Whenever they decide to start JM he's gonna have the weight of the world on his shoulders. I do wish him the best outside of hurting my team on any level.

How different is JR's situ from TB's? It's like night and day. TB came out of absolute obscurity where as everyone will be looking at JR. Ought to be interesting to say the least, no?

Yes! I don't think Kiffen will start him until he appears ready. Hopefully it will be before the end of the year. Some Raiders fans were predicting mid season.

Ya, actually? I don't think Kiffin will start him until he sees there's enough support vis a vis the OL. That is, unless he feels like his job is on the line. That might change things.

Take that, LT and Ocho Cinco

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought "Well, at least we know what the game plan is this week!" Doesn't it seem that BB always praises a player that he's been watching on film all week devising ways to cream him on Sunday? It's hysterical.
