Defense was spectacular. Offense was mediocre. Special teams stunk. 3-0 is 3-0. Lots of room for improvement.

Gunner's muff was offset by Slater's amazing punt coverage play. Bailey's punts are impressive. The Ghost stabilized after that first PAT miss.

I think as far as Belichick is concerned, he pulled one of Parcells' old tricks from the 1990 Giants season. Parcells would put in Jeff Hosteler randomly into games to see if he was ready if called upon. Obviously, he was, as he won the Super Bowl once Simms went down. Today, Stidham failed that test. He has to realize that he can be asked to go in at any point. Brady was ready in 2001 and never looked back.

Big Ben looked fine physically (besides being a tad pudgy) when the Pats plays the Steelers. He threw multiple bombs w/o an issue from what I saw. Pats have clearly played bad offenses the past 2 weeks but their defensive level of dominance Cowboys but I certainly think the Pats defense is the strength of this team.
