I'd insist my lawyers and pr people do everything to clear my name and follow their professional advice. In his defense, if he truly is innocent, how would you react if literally every media outlet in the world is calling you a rapist and sexual predator? Not to mention every time you go on the internet or social media every person is saying the same thing?
So you agree with me?
There’s nothing next. Guaranteed you this will die down. They have accomplished what they have accomplished. They will investigate this. Brown just needs to focus on this and then see if someone will give him another chance. If you have guys like Big Ben, hill, etc playing then even brown deserves another chance. Heck even ray lewis killed a guy and he went on and played.
Unfortunately BEYOND the cap problems that trade would inflict, the enmity that exists between William and Bruce Allen is so great that Allen would never "reward" Williams with a trade to NE. OTOH, he'd gladly send him to Miami for a firstTrent Williams. That 9million is now towards his salary.
With this trade, it will make the OL strong thru the playoffs into the SB...
My goodness, this Pats organization? Steelers handled AB for 9 years, raiders for several months and pats can’t handle him for 2 weeks?
I'll buy that.
But think about it, just think about it. Someone is suing you and included bad behavior in the lawsuit. You start texting with an angry tone with this person? What? WHAT??? She's probably on the phone with her lawyer after the first text comes in reading them real time. No matter how much he may feel wronged (putting aside his actual or not culpability) how could he have not thought 'everything I say will be going wright to her lawyer'? It's so shockingly astonishingly ill-conceived it strongly suggests he lacks a relatively basic interpersonal thought process mechanism or his background makes him devoid of any sense of the world he lives in now(and has lived in for several years).
It sounds like you’re literally taking things too literal.I'd insist my lawyers and pr people do everything to clear my name and follow their professional advice.
Obviously every media outlet didn't cover it. Most of the minority of outlets that covered it referred to them as allegations and a civil case.
It's incredibly annoying and stupid to use the word "literally" and then follow it with a figurative statement.
Interesting thought. I know Brown would still get paid, but does the team with a player on the exempt list still have his salary go against the cap?
Beyond that, maybe the ghost of Myra Kraft visited Bob in his sleep and he felt bad. Who knows.
End of the day, it's disappointing. Seeing Brown in that offense would have been a lot of fun. In another way, the controversy was irritating to me, so I'll be glad it's gone. (Is that allowed? Can we be middle of the road about all this?)
bet you now, AB is wishing he paid that 2million$
oh, someone will sign him after all of this is settled. the NFL is full of scumbag players and no one seems to care. Hill broke his sons arm and Chiefs fans will defend him to death, Suggs poured bleach down his girlfriends throat. Ray lewis killed a guy and has a statue! Big Ben was accused of sexually assaulting women twice!
This season though is probably out of the question
