Zero proof he even sent those texts

I think Brown’s behavior is just too erratic. You can’t handle the current problems when he’s busy creating new ones.

Nothing really lossed ......but heck..I get to put Flash back onto my FF team this week!

Y’all defending AB look like a buncha clowns now

Analyzing a lawsuit which had a lot of huge question marks/suspicious circumstances does not equate to defending AB. Find one post that alludes to him being a decent human being.

Good riddance, those texts were just the last straw basically. That's a level of stupidity that there's no real getting past.

Now, about recouping that guaranteed money, I think it's safe to say he broke the clause about undermining the Patriot's public image and all that.

This was a colossal **** up handing out that contract if the Patriots get zero cap space now even after cutting him

I meant criminal. As far as I know he hasn't been charged with a crime yet. Perhaps he's getting charged. Or Belichick just didn't want to be on the hook for the 5 million.
I think the Patriots told him to keep his mouth shut, and he couldn't.

Because it's the only transgression he's had with the Patriots, and because of the specific wording in his contract, they could release him owing him nothing but his game check.

One screw up and gone.

That’s a fireable offense?

Don't know why it's so hard to understand that NFL players can be fired for literally anything, from dropping a pass to not looking before they cross the street. It's in their contract!

Makes no difference if someone has the same opinion as you. Still your opinion and not based on any knowledge whatsoever. Unless you had a private audience with Belichick in the past 5 minutes and he told you he was releasing Brown due to media pressure. Is that the case?
Literally everything being discussed is conjecture. Get off your high horse because you disagree with my assessment.

Sorry this is ridiculous. You know what the difference between Hill and this is?

Hill kept his mouth shut and let the story die down as much as he could have and didn't give fuel to the fire and let plausible deniability do the rest. Hill didn't have another accuser come out unsolicited asking for no money or no charges just to say "yes this is his behavior". Hill didn't go against his team, the league and his lawyers advice.

He brought this on himself. He took a bad situation and made it worse and didn't listen to anyone who was on his side.
Look at his history. Every time something happens he says or does something stupid.
I’ve said all along he’s a turd but i only cares about him playing football.
I still think what he did last was sensationalized and shouldn’t have cost him his job but maybe it was the straw that broke the camels back.

Given that he practiced today it could also be that they brought him in to discuss this issue and the ban the gag orders from the league and as one might expect he responded like an entitled meathead and they felt he just doesn’t get it.
