He’s no angel but this woman shoud not be surprised that brown came back at her so deal with it ! Don’t come out with crap like i feel threatened.

She felt intimidated. Most people would. With Eric B coming at you and showing pictures of your kids.

Potentially bad person is pissed his bad acts came out in national sports magazine. So sad!

Well she’s naive to think brown wouldn’t come back at her and say stuff like i am gonna get dirt on you or you’re broke. Again you’re naive if you think she didn’t get paid to put that story out on SI.

Dude it was already out there. No what she did was brung more attention to herself. So brown comes back at her and she’s all mad and feels threatened? Give me a break.

It was not out there.

An NFL team could terminate you for having a haircut they don't like. There's no standard for either the performance or conduct clause other than what the team says is detrimental conduct or poor performance. And, for what it's worth, most employees (i.e. those without CBAs requiring some sort of due process) can be fired at-will too, so your appeals to other jobs or whatever is also false. US employment law isn't kind to employees; the only real appeal is if termination was on the basis of a protected class.
No they cannot.
They can terminate you because you aren’t good enough to be on the team.
Of course there is a difference. If they fire you for conduct detrimental they don’t pay you. If they cut you then you are subject to those rules under the cba.
There is a conduct detrimental clause BECAUSE it’s different. Otherwise there wouldn’t be one.

Out here in the real world, employees who ate fired take action for wrongful firing all the time.
Every company has voluminous HR policies about documentation of performance or issues and will only fire a bad employee after having a paper trail of documentation
At will us not at whim.

She didn’t offer up the information. She was contacted by a hack reporter who was looking for dirt, she gave it to him.

She could have easily said no thanks and hung up she didn’t.

Why would she? Why would she protect Brown?

All time PatsFans.Com Thread ...

I think an asterisk should be applied. The Jets Suck threads, if not recycled every year would surely surpass this.

@Tunescribe deserves some credit.

Get dirt on that person and not coming at you. Get it right! Those pictures he probably got from her social media site so it’s no secret. She shouldn’t be surprised that brown came back at her. If you gonna air his dirty laundry on a magazine be prepared for it.

You’re a chicken little. There was nothing intimidating. She likely would have had the same reaction if someone aired her dirty laundry. That’s what brown wants to do. She brung this on herself as well so she needs to learn how to take it as well.

You talk brave online but you'd be the first one quaking in your boots.

I'm glad we're using Hill as a comparison. Because all of you thought he definitely shouldn't be suspended when all the allegations about him came out.

/s
Anyone who compares Hill to Brown's current situation is simply dishonest and has no regard for the truth.

Why would she? Why would she protect Brown?

She wasn’t but she let it be published on the magazine and now she wants people to feel sorry for her that brown came back at her? Really?

I’m starting to think you’re a Jets fan who is posting the dumbest stuff possible in an attempt to make Patriots fans look like idiots.

As though the collective 'we' aren't perfectly capable of doing that on 'our' own

That's to prevent EEO suits, generally, but employees can and certainly are fired on a whim.

NFL players can have their contracts terminated for whatever they want. There's basically no appeal. I've never heard of a wrongful termination grievance in thr NFL except for injury.

Well she’s naive to think brown wouldn’t come back at her and say stuff like i am gonna get dirt on you or you’re broke. Again you’re naive if you think she didn’t get paid to put that story out on SI.
I am not naive. I think it is easy to expect that a potentially bad guy (based on all the allegations that have come out) is going to behave badly. I just think it is in his best interest not to, that negatively impact my opinion of him, that he apparently cannot control himself in the least, and that it's all a distraction.

It's one thing to not expect the behavior. It's another to expect it but still be disappointed or disapprove of it.

Perfectly legal and extremely stupid/immoral are not mutually exclusive concepts.

What Brown sent via text may have been perfectly legal, but that doesn't make it not extremely stupid or immoral/unethical.

Posting photos of this woman's children and stating that Eric B. is going to be attempting to dig up dirt on her is stupid at best, and I'd go a step further and argue it's harassment and manipulative.

As others have said, Brown has no one to blame but himself for this. He was the person who sent those texts, after all.
He did not POST PHOTOS OF HER CHILDREN.
He texted photos of her with her children in them to whoever Eric b is.

Robert Klemko posted them.

Where do you suppose he got the photos?

I would venture there are 2 choices.
1) she sent them to him
2) she posted them on social media.

In either case she gives tacit permission for whoever she gave access to to send them to whoever he wants.
How can it be harassing to privately forward a photo that you were given permission to have or that is already public?

Yes he was the person who sent them. And he has nothing to apologize for. At least in this instance.

I do think that this AB stuff is going to be a season long drama though.

Why would she? Why would she protect Brown?

Then why bring it up now and not when the incident happened?

She didn’t call the writer and offer up the info, she was contacted years after and asked if she had a story to tell that fits this hacks narrative.

You talk brave online but you'd be the first one quaking in your boots.

Again you sound like a chicken little. If you can’t take the heat get yourself out the kitchen. She brung more attention to it and she shouldn’t be surprised by brown’s response.
