Injuries have sucked but we did get a bit of luck in terms of getting Gordon/Brown on the same field together in Sept. We want them for Jan/Feb but not too long ago we were looking at a MUCH different WR corp to start the year.

No charges for the sexual misconduct in Pittsburgh, but that has nothing to do with the much more serious charge of rape in the state of FL.

Also, charges don’t matter since Goodell has the power to do whatever he wants. If he believes the woman (or possibly, women), Brown doesn’t play.

There's nothing magical about criminal charges with respect to a player being placed on the exempt list. It's just that the existence of criminal charges gives Goodell more cover to put a player on the exempt list since it makes it easier for him to claim he has "reason to believe" something happened. Conversely, criminal charges aren't needed for Goodell to put someone on the exempt list.

We don't know all the evidence she has. She might have additional evidence. No way you or I know that. I find it interesting that posters on this board can speak in such absolute and certain terms without any real knowledge.

Yes that’s a serious charge but prove it. Never filed any type of criminal complaint. Never went to the hospital for a checkup. Also reports out that she took trips after that to see him.

She claimed she had a strictly professional relationship with AB in her court filings and there's video all over the internet of them cuddling in bed and having fun, not to mention today's news and the fact that a civil lawsuit screams money grab to everyone with a brain.

Pretty safe bet, but hey if you want to get worked up about, by all means.

There can be other types of evidence as well, such as circumstantial evidence. If she told people of the assault/rape in real time, that is evidence (while it probably won't win the case, it moves the needle). Other types of communication might be available as well as video camera recordings from Brown's house that can be obtained. The point is that we really don't know what additional evidence might be out there. There might be nothing, there might be a lot. You and I do not know.

I'm not getting worked up at all. But it is possible that the complaint underplayed her relationship with Brown while still having other evidence that we aren't privy to yet. I'm not saying that it exists. I'm only saying it's likely she is filing a lawsuit with more than she letting out in the complaint. That's what discovery is for. I'm a lawyer and just being realistic about the situation.

Goodell can suspend him for whatever he wants, the article whatever he got Brady with. Then fight with the players union about it.

The exempt list is set up to put a player on hold while they are investigating. If there isn't any investigation going on then he won't go on the exempt list. He would simply punish him. I am not sure why people are so fixated with the exempt list. I think it originally came up when people thought they might be able to punish Brown for his antics with the Raiders, then the idiots in the media latched onto it.

They can do that but telling someone? Anyone can make that up you know. She already lied once. Her credibility is shot already. Defense lawyers would say well she lied about the relationship she had with brown.
