Huge surprise that the NFL is acting very differently with the AB/Pstriots situation than they did with the Tyreek/Chiefs situation.

Remember when everyone was clamouring for some type of response from the NFl - anything at all, a comment on what they were planning on doing etc.

They basically ignored it, then when a lot of the initial fuss had died down they basically stated "nothing to see here, folks" - and that, was that.

Now look at the AB situation - the NFL have released an official statement within HOURS of the story breaking, followed by a series of leaks though various outlets (the threat to put AB on the exempt list).

It's the exact same hype fiasco we had to deal with , with both 'Spygate' and 'Deflategate'.

The NFL sit back and pretend to be neutral, all the while stoking the flames of controversy by constantly leaking info. Then they'll march in and lay down an unprecedented and harsh penalty - much to the joy of the fans of the other 31 teams.

Perhaps one of the lawyer/fans could tell us - would cutting him now, before any criminal charges have been filed or civil charges adjudicated, be a violation of his rights under the CBA. I know Hernandez was cut pretty quickly, but not sure if that was before criminal charges were filed.
They can cut him but he will still be paid.

Every team deals with this stuff.

The part that doesn't make sense, though, is your decision to blame the Patriots. Why? This all allegedly happened years before there was even a hint of the Patriots signing Brown. It's impossible to reasonably blame the Patriots in this particular instance.
He has been a Patriot for one day, but all you hear is “Patriots’ star Antonio Brown”.

He was such a headcase coming in in any case. Would you have signed AB after Raiders released him?

Sure, why not? Other teams were interested and all the Patriots really stand to lose is money.

Not that money is expendable with the payroll restrictions in the NFL, but it's not like this tarnishes anything about the Patriots. At this point, everyone has made up their mind about them either way.

Felger and Mazz must be delighted, they just got weeks of content which was going to be difficult to do if this team is as dominant as they looked in the opener.

So? It's been that way for over a decade. People who hate the Patriots will always hate the Patriots.

If true they cannot cut him fast enough for my liking. My biggest question is why would you continue to be his trainer for a year after the first assault? I'm not saying this means she is lying but why would you stay on? Maybe she has kids and needed the money that bad......I have no idea but that is confusing.

The Kansas City Child-Abusers really shouldn't be throwing stones and Hunt minus the video would still be there too.

A true story about how some women can jump to the wrong conclusion sometimes....men and women are doing that with AB today.

One of my first jobs out of high school was working in an ER sterilizing instruments and making up surgical packs. One extremely busy day a woman was brought in groggy after taking a drug overdose and was suicidal. The attending doctor got me and asked me to keep an eye on her while he looked in on another case. The woman was half asleep but when she came to her senses she saw me looking at her and started screaming and yelling saying I was leering at her. Female nurses ran into the room and started giving me the third degree while the woman was still going crazy on me . They wouldn't listen to me and had me tried and convicted until the doctor came back and confirmed he asked me to watch over her. Those nurses kept giving me the cold shoulder after that for no reason.

People shouldn't be assumed guilty until proven innocent but it happens every day.

Reinstated from what?

Brown's not, nor will he be suspended before the NFL completes its investigation.
I was replying to why you shouldn't be suspending a player based upon a civil suit.

I described the 3 alleged instances.

How does a person ejaculate on another persons back while sitting down watching a church service on an iPad?
We shouldn’t assume anything you listed actually happened in my opinion

.

NFL hasn’t released a statement.

Don’t think the NFL has released a statement that I’m aware of.

well if they put him on exempt list based on what we know any psycho fan could go ahead an accuse some player of the same just to get them out of the way

there sure is some psycho fan who can take out Mahomes.
