That may be true for us old time fans, but these players barely know who Larry Legend was and certainly aren't connecting themselves to that "glory." To them, Bird, McHale, Parish, DJ, et al were just a bunch of slow guys from the 80's who played in a league of inferior athletes.

No team passed the ball like the old Celts. They created opportunities and found the open man via passing. They were smart, tough and no detail was too small.
