I know some say it's time to let this go, but I'm not one of those people...

I'm in favor of any excuse to celebrate the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history!

My only complaint is let's stop this choke nonsense, we kicked their *ss!

I posted it on facebook first thing this morning.

It's not about taunting the Falcons -- they played a great game. But they were on the wrong side of the greatest comeback in history and there's never a time to stop celebrating that.

Saints fans celebrate this more than Pats fans

Just to get briefly political, as a Brexit voting Brit, 3-29 was going to be a special day but politicians are . Will just have to take 3-28 and make that my celebration day going forward.

I have yet to see a compelling case that it isn't the greatest championship comeback of all time in any sport. I'm sure there are good candidates out there but being down by that many points in a game where you are fighting the clock as well as the other team in a single elimination on the greatest stage to me makes it pretty much impossible for another sport's championship comebacks to match the magnitude of what we were facing.

3-28 in the NFL with a little over quarter left IN THE SUPER BOWL and to come back and win is ****ing insane.

The comeback in that game is one for the ages, when I watch the video of that final drive with all of the Falcons exhausted and hands on hips trying to catch their breath after playing 95+ snaps on defense, I wonder what would have happened if they started reviewing all of the potential DPI and OPI infractions that take about 2.5 minutes each??

The beauty of that OT drive was moving the ball, and not allowing Atl to make any significant adjustments and completely wearing them down.. if there were penalties contested it would have destroyed that momentum.. the Pats are masters of clock management, will that differ when the new PI rules are operationalized???

I celebrate this historic comeback event at least once a week. I have two t-shirts with the score before and after on the front and back of the t-shirt. I am in NJ and wear it proudly like my Patriots' ball cap.

I also proudly wear T-shirts that say 86-45

I've re-watched the game several times, often starting around the 28-3 turning point late in the third quarter. Even though I know the outcome, it's still hard to see it happening when watching. Like the Pats were still punting and missing field goals and taking sacks and dropping balls, etc. It doesn't look possible most of the time.

As the game progressed, our team played more and more like I coach em'.

I love tweets like this captured!

Ain't over till it's over!

Happy 3-28 to everyone but Falcons fans

ATLANTA — Hello from Atlanta, friends! Here, it’s a pleasant, sunny spring day. Everywhere else in the country, it’s HA HA ATLANTA CHOKED DAY GET IT GET IT GET IT?

Yeah, we get it. March 28. 3-28. The exact score that the Falcons led the Patriots by, way back in Super Bowl LI, before executing the most catastrophic, inexcusable, why-couldn’t-you-just-run-the-ball faceplant in modern American sports. We know. We all saw it. Atlanta had the chance to put a stake in the Patriots dynasty that night, and the Falcons blew it. We know that, all right? WE’RE SORRY, AMERICA.
...

And as for you, New England: well, you remain the beacons of slippery just-good-enough-to win excellence you’ve always been. You folded against the Eagles, which was a delight to see, and then you got the good fortune to go up against a Rams team that somehow forgot how to complete a damn pass on the biggest stage of the year. It was an ugly win, but hey, ugly’s how y’all roll in Boston.

But your time’s coming, New England. You know it. You feel it in your soul every time you see yet another Belichick disciple stumble to a 7-9 record. You know that your entire dynasty, miraculous as it is, rests on the backs of just two men, and we’re in their endgame. You know that when Brady and Belichick are gone, you’re in for an endless, desolate slog of three-touchdown losses, of Jets and Bills and Dolphins dancing in the Gillette end zone as the memories of those six rings fade farther in the distance. And when that day comes — and it’s coming sooner than you think, Patriots fans — we in Atlanta will raise a glass to you and your sterling regular-season performances.

We’ll set aside every January 15.

Sure, the Pats may suck some day... happens to every franchise... but that will never erase the greatest comeback/biggest single game collapse in sports history, nor the other countless moments, memories and victories the New England Patriots have experienced.

What are they even trying to say here? "Um, actually, the Patriots won't be good forever!"

Bitter, ain't won sh*t franchises have to hang their hats on something... "HAHA your amazing, incredible, unprecedented run of success might finally be coming to an end!!!"

Longest losing streak Pats have ever had is seven seasons.

I think that may never be matched in my, or my kids', or my grandkids' lifetimes

And it's a fraction of what all those other teams including dynasties have barfed up

I think August 23 should qualify as well. You can never celebrate this too much.
