I feel that this team heard all the noise from not just Lane, but the whole media world and used it as motivation to propel them to a another SB championship. From ignoring the noise to soaking in the noise it worked

It's the sort of move that this board generally praises Patriots players for making, as some sign of extra buy-in for allowing the team cap flexibility, but it's standard operating procedure. Oddly, when Johnson does the same thing, it's somehow revenge.

He's getting more money now, and his cap hits are going to be $13.2 million in 2020 and just under $11 million in 2021, per PFT.

He'll still be having fun in 2021.
