Ugh, I'm sure this will go over with the conspiracy nut-jobs.

It's simple: both commercials are made prior to the Super Bowl. Whichever team wins the Super Bowl, their commercial is immediately played, the loser's commercial is discarded.

Some knucklehead just screwed up putting it on when that commercial wasn't supposed to air.

Unless of course these people think those commercials you see immediately after the game were filmed between the end of the game and the airing of the commercial...

Prior to Super Bowl 46 there were banner ads for the Giants championship merchandise accidently put up on NFL.com. I remember it distinctly.

I love it. Feed the haters and let them feel the agony of defeat. What’s a good Patriots victory without a juicy conspiracy anyway?

It would be nice to show the Rams commercial as evidence that this is just what Networks do but this is the NFL we are talking about.

BTW, there was a 2007 commercial with the Patriots joining the 72 Dolphins players in Perfectville that never aired because, well you know?

Marketing 101..... Get them suckers to buy gear, even if it's wrong! Maybe package the correct gear after the decision. Might add that this could be happening on the west coast with the Rams as the winners as well.
