The Pats game plan and subsequent execution for the most part were brilliant last night, but some things really stick out.. Similar to when we wore down the Falcons in SB LI

Time of Possession: Pats 43:59, Chiefs 20:53 (keep the ball out of Mahomes hands)
Total Yards: Pats 524, Chiefs 290
Total plays: Officially Pats 94, Chiefs 47 ( If you count penalties the #'s are Pats 97 and Chiefs 52)
Pats 3rd down conversion rate 13 of 19... incredible.

Number of snaps by Player on offense:

94 offensive plays, KC defense gassed, OT victory. Sounds like SB 51. Not sure how many more games like this my heart can take.

Had balls not bounced out of the hands of Edelman and Gronk, that would have been a far worse drubbing.

Defensive snaps..

Lucky coin flip. And offsides call.

Statistically, the Pats OL graded out as the best passblocking job by any team in any game all year.
PBWR(pass block win rate) : entire ol was awesome but Shaq Mason got 100%.
Gronk and James White also got 100%.
PBWR means blocker was not beaten by a defender within first 2.5 seconds after the snap.
We have a great ol.

I was just reading that.

Allowed one pressure on 46 dropbacks

Ran for 176 yards and 4tds

Only blemish were a couple of short yardage calls. Why they didn't run Develin or Tom on the sneak is still curious

Quite possibly one of the greatest performances by an oline in afccg history

And it's only going to get better-its a young, athletic ol and we have Wynn back next year.

In the Super Bowl snaps for White has to go up. I personally think White is the best playmaker out of all three RBs. Not that Burkhead and Michel are bad (if anything they need to keep running Michel) but White is arguably our best chain mover along with Edelman. At the beginning of the game we kept using White and we were consistently getting 1st downs DESPITE White dropping two screen passes. The more we involve White the better our offense runs. Burkhead is a good change-of-pace back but he really should not have nearly the same amount of snaps.

One of the snippets last night, by Romo I believe, was that the Pats Chargers game last week was BB's 750th that he coached in.. that in itself is an amazing stat. Amazing Experience...

Hope his 752nd is a win...

I have become a puddle watching Pats playoff games. The emotion swings are debilitating

I called the game plan exactly.

Never bet against Triumph.

wow..ran twice as many plays, yet needed OT to win

My pops was calling this oline better than 78 last night. Not sure he truly believed it but testimony to this group that he even said that.

Exactly what I said in another thread. Was Amazing.

Rams are in the bottom half of adjusted sack rate & bottom 3rd for adjusted rush yards...can't see us giving up worse vs them in a neutral environment (albeit a dome gets loud).

They were number 1 in pass protection for a reason. They are damn good and not surprised they were able to dominate like they did. The big game is where they will really have to shine against Donald and his gang. Inside pressure is the key and they need to be prepared for that.

Lucky coin flip. And offsides call.

These wins must be torture for you.

While on the subject of coin flips, now that the Pats have won two big overtime games after winning the coin flip, look for the NYFL to change the rules again.

As for calls, how about that non-call in the Rams-Saints game? How could an official miss such a blatant penalty like that?
