Solid game, continues to show some improved coverage as well (covered Hunt well on a TD play designed for #27 that ended up being a TD by #10).

If we play Kc again we need some faster guys in there. Crossen or Jackson should help. The McCourties can’t keep up with him. Jones did well against him on a couple plays.

Jason McCourty also caught up to Hill on one play. I was amazed.. He showed more speed than I thought he had..

The defense gave Brady the ball in the Chiefs redzone with a turnover and he gave the Chiefs the ball inside our 40 with his fumble. But we count the great play by HT as something that the offense should be praised for and the bad play by the GOAT as something that counts against the defense.

Similarly the ST brainfart on the return.

Go eat a snickers or something you are not seeing things rational.

Now, you can choose to believe that’s good defense. But I will have to question whether you’ve ever seen good defense or not. This very team used to play it.

The defense did a great job in the first half. But they were a train wreck in the second.

Keep repeating yourself but you will not be any closer to being right. You will see most of this reflected by what Lazar or Chatham will say about the game.

The offense for all the talent on it (Brady, White, Gronk, Gordon, Edelman) looked inconsistent. The defense for all the lack of talent did its job through the entire game to give this team a chance to win the game.

The Hightower pick and Brady fumble alone are a 14+ swing where the offense did **** nothing and the defense got screwed.

When the other team is converting third down after third down we get told they are preventing the big play.

The Chiefs converted 4 of 10 3rd downs.

The defense did a phenomenal job in the first half. The second half? Awful.

It was awful. We also injected their O with a kick return for a near TD, another KO with great field position and a Brady fumble.

I blame the coaches more at that point with the lead for not letting Hill beat them and getting physical with him. Simple adjustment, but they were too consumed with Kelce, Hunt and I guess Watkins? Hopefully when we meet again we game plan around Hill and live with Chung and some Lb help on Kelce.

Another option is Gilmore play Hunt and just force him to run some legit routes and double him occasionally.

Yes. But they need to be much better.

There is time. We won’t see them again for a while, if at all. Mahomes will make mistakes - his 2 INTs were worth 10 points. Big thing was not going 3-3 in a game many thought we could lose, with a tough one next week.
