Too bad they butchered the quote of what Gordon posted.

They have:
Accompanying the video was a thought-provoking caption that read “Who you are is what you have been. Who you will be is what is what you have been.”

What Gordon really said was:
Who you are is what you have been. Who you will be is what you do now.

I'm really happy for Gordon. Only a few weeks in and he's been a part of history (the good kind, for a change). The structure we have is much different than in Cleveland too

Also, he seems like he's actually absorbing the playbook. Just a gut feeling, and it's no mystery that the offense is hard to learn.

Gordon played in a similar system in Cleveland with a lot of the same terminology and concepts, and he’s very intelligent, especially for a WR, which are generally on average the least intellectually gifted group in the league; that’s not a knock, it’s just to say in most offenses the raw athleticism matters a lot make than intelligence. Gordon scored at a QB level on the Wonderlic. He was rumored to be ready to play within four days of the trade if it weren’t for his hamstring. I think the reason for limited snaps is his timing and chemistry with Brady (it just takes a lot of reps no matter who you are) and not the playbook. Even still he is progressing as fast anyone who has joined the team after training camp.

What confuses me a bit about Gordon is how someone who is supposedly hooked on all kinds of substances can be in this kind of shape. Did he get drunk and just head to the gym to workout? Or got high and just worked out till he dropped?
Something does not add up for me.
He looks much better in Pats uniform than the Browns though. I bet listening to BB is also much more better than Hue especially if you are a football smart.

He’s a freak of nature. It’s like how Bo Jackson claimed to never work out

What confuses me the most is keeping a coach who went 1-15 in one year then went 0-16 the next

Maybe he hung out at Big Ray’s Gym and Bar?

He is gifted - Cat like quick.
Let's hope he flies straight.

It's funny how football fans and the sports media seem to be more tolerant of genuinely bad people (wife beaters, child abusers, rapists, accessories to murder) than they are of somebody who has problems that don't harm anybody else. I get why the Browns punted on Gordon after missing so much playing time over the years, but we're talking about a guy who was fundamentally just hurting himself yet gets massively piled on by everybody.

Meanwhile total scumbags like Terrell Suggs, who is literally a multiple-time abuser of his family who tried to poison his 1 year old kid with bleach, just sort of coasts by with both the media and fans in general.

I hope Gordon does well and gets his life together partly for selfish football fan reasons, and partly because why wouldn't I?

What the hell is up with dipshit Girardi saying Josh isn't getting separation from DBs?

Confusing for sure, but they must have realized that hiring a new coach every season for 15 years wasn't working either. (fun fact: they've had 9 head coaches since Brady was drafted.)

I get it from that perspective, but it's gotta be the most Browns thing ever to only come to that conclusion when they've finally found their worst coach ever.

Great video... I remember my prediction of positive outcome.. update. Now predicting really positive outcome... .
