Too bad that Bill wanted to play Hardball vs the Vinitraitor after the 2005 season. How feckin short-sighted was that?

Not at all. Vinatieri’s been great but he’s played the last half of his career in the easiest situation for a kicker. Half his game in a dome and the AFC South teams are in Jacksonville, Houston and Nashville. There’s only 5 games all year he really has any question of bad elements.

Ghost has been automatic from 2006-2015. And even now he’s one of the better kickers in the league.

Hmmm. I can't agree that Ghost has been automatic, but he's been a very good kicker. I also think the Patriots played hardball with Adam, but a piece of him wanted to leave and kick in an easy situation like the Colts. All in all it worked out well for all concerned.

I would add that back them Adam was having trouble with KO depth and hang time.
Ghost is much better can usually put it out of the end zone or kick high near thge goal line if needed.
