How is Madden nowadays? I remember playing it all the time back in the day, now I barely even think about it. I think I got sick of the game barely getting any better year after year and said to hell with it.

I don’t like the guy but i am surprised he doesn’t have a job yet on a team. He might not be the same player but he can still get you close to 1000 yards. A lot of guys out there who can’t even do that yet they’re in an nfl roster. Maybe it’s the headaches off the field but i don’t think it’s that bad.

So trade for guys on like 350 a year contract locked up for multiple seasons.

How could you realistically make madden more fun to play? There is now way I see to improve the current game play.

They've been putting out the same game for almost a decade now. It sucks.

I have no problem with signing the guy to see what he can do. Personally, I'd sign him just to watch the meltdowns in the press and other team's fans. But that's just how I roll.....

I haven't played since Madden 11 or 12. I didn't like the look that they were gliding or on ice skates when running. I do miss playing online though, I'd piss so many people off.

Another trick is to change the position of the players to a kicker and then pay them kicker money for the max amount of years. Worked like a charm. I loved doing the draft. It was nice to know who were the best players and I would trade down until they were projected to be picked. I'd always get poor draft grades yet they would turn out to be the best players.

I did this to one player I couldn't afford to re-sign one season (Great WR, but very average at RB), but then people were like, "You might as well turn off the salary cap, because you're still cheating." So I stopped.

And I always got an F in the draft, too, but we were always a playoff bound team.

Yesterday morning when on this board could not believe the Bryant rumors and thought no way, then I go to twitter and allegedly there was a pix of Bryant at Logan.. then that WTF moment.

Today nary a peep about Dez, so not sure what is going on.. if a player tries out for a team usually it is publicized. Still not sure he would be a good fit for this team...

I do not know Dez has got something left in the tank. I have impression his plays based only on his physicality and strength. Poor route runner,not so fast as well. What concerns me more is his attitude and.....hmmm intelligence.He seems to have problems with average homework not mentioning Pats' playbook. However if BB thinks differently I am willing to accept him as a player who has got something to prove.

Cobb is rather a slot receiver than big bodied outside WR.Beside that fact his salary cap is over 8 million in his final year of contract.I assume we just can't afford him.

I can’t think of a single WR that BB brought in late in the preseason that has heavily contributed to the team. The truth is you need to go through TC to learn this offense, especially WR.

Not necessarily. They could bring in WRs from similar offenses (Houston, for example) that would be able to pick it up without having to be in TC.
