It appears this issue is not going away anytime soon. We've seen members of the media say one thing one day, and another thing the next day. Apparently it will be open season for some time to come.

It was nice to have a three hour respite last night, until the new articles today were still complaining about the Patriots after they removed all doubt with a huge whooping on the league's third best team.

Unfortunately this thing might not die. Look at the Barry Bonds issue. Despite dozens of baseball players being caught using steroids, Bonds is constantly singled out as the most wretched baseball player ever, while other guys get a free pass or a mild slap on the wrist.

Oh well. F*ck em.

I'd like to see Bob Kraft take the offensive and push Goodell and his

office to find out and punish whoever leaked the tape. Goodell might even

have to fire himself or divorce his wife.

Don't worry, it will all die down eventually. Probably not for a while, at least not until eveyone and their mother chimes in with their opinion.

What I was most worried about was how the players would respond, so last night's win was pretty much the perfect game. To see them rally around Belichick, and play all fired up, that was awesome to see.

Who knows where this whole spygate hysteria is heading, but I am no longer worried about the players. This team will win, and win a lot. If they are using all this as motivation, an "us against the world" thing, well good for them. If the team is winning and playing well, they can handle and deal with anything else (except for a BB suspension, but I don't think that's happening until the tape of Belichick torturing pit bulls on the Jets sideline surfaces).
