Whatever. Give him a shot, see if he can eventually challenge hoyer but I’m not expecting too much. This draft was top heavy at qb but overall quality of depth just wasn’t there imo.

Numbers aren't terrible, but he was tough to watch at times at LSU. Not a bad thrower -- in fact, he's got some good talent there -- but the total picture as a quarterback is abysmal. I guess he's a fine camp body. Maybe a few years under Brady and McDaniels will work out for him, but right now I'm having a tough time imagining that he'll learn to read the field.

After just a quick glance at his physical measurements and his highlights, he reminds me of Matt Cassel which isn't a bad thing.

You said it right in the middle there, he was a tough watch. He was all over the place. Not what I like to see in a QB.
