I was just watching Bentley today. Monster run D & blitzer.
Not LB fans expected. Still they could be happy my boy Elandon is getting some competition..

Like with Wynn . on film he looks like man among boys..

I remember watching on a pick 6 to win one game a while back. Actually had some pretty good speed in the open field & obviously wasn't caught from behind. Not a ton of tape of him but worth a shot.

To start, Ja’Whaun Bentley may be a tad overweight. 260 lbs is good in the Big Ten against teams like Iowa and Wisconsin that are going to run a lot of direct runs, but the NFL is all about speed. Speed which Bentley lacks. He just doesn’t have that top-end speed to play inside and finish plays sideline-to-sideline.

Bentley looks like he's competing with Elandon Roberts for a r0ster spot as a downhill thumper. Probably worth giving him a go over Roberts but I wouldn't consider him a roster lock at all.

At least my perfect record of never having one correct pick in the annual draft game on here remains intact... So I have that going for me, which is nice.

We got a 5th rounder that is about equal to Roberts. Folks expected competition for Van Noy.

I was expecting nothing after the news conference. We now have an additional 3rd next year, a jump on the UDFA's (with the 6ths and 7ths), and a player that will compete with Roberts for a roster spot.

I guess Belichick really has no use for the quarterbacks. He may still being in a draftee, an UDFA, Manziel or another by trade.

...pretty mediocre draft. a slow run stuffing LB, a running back with bad knees in the 1st round, and another tackle when we just traded for one. maybe belichick is done with thuney??? again, our team isn't as good as the one that played in the SB.

defensive line is still average, we have 0 pass rush other than flowers who was ineffective in the SB. lane johnson destroyed him. linebackers are all bulky and slow..
