Eugene Wilson - thanks for a great game

I recorded the game last night and now im watching it again. I really liked what i saw out of Eugene wilson. Nothing spectacular, but after seeing this again he is ALL OVER THE PLACE. It's really nice to see.

Yes, I noticed he was popping up regularly as the plays unfolded. He was around the ball a lot and made some solid hits. Is Geno growing up just in time for his contract year????? If he keeps playing like he did last night then that's alright with me.

Nice to see that, especially with Rodney out. Maybe Geno will have made enough strides that he can be out there without training wheels and make a good solid impact.

I've been a detractor and it's good to see. He was also clearly barking out signals on one play (so I assume many others) which was good to see.

i always liked the hits he put on people. When he's healthy and playing i think he's great. I want him here for his entire career.

It's just the little things that i like to see. Like in the 2nd quarter when Rivers hit gates for like 5 yards and seau was making the tackle, Eugene threw his body right at the ball and helped make the tackle.

at 14:50 in the 3rd quarter Wilson had a badass play on Gates with a great tackle.

Nice post KEEGS. I was also extremely impressed with Sanders. The boy is a player. If last night is the norm, I believe the hype about this guy.

P.S. - I can't wait to see if the offense can put in together too, once they work together a little longer.

Agreed. I thought Wilson really stood out in the Jets game too. He tackles very well and plays with confidence. I've been very happy to see it.

I wouldn't expect anything less from a player on a contract year. It will be tough to keep him if he keeps it up.
