Color rush uniforms not coming back to Thursday Night Football

That was the only thing good about TNF. Another poor decision by the NFL.

If anything the colour (yeah, I'm Canadian so I can't type it "color" in good conscious) rush jerseys will always make me think of the Texans game that Brissett started and won.

I liked ours. I hope they can still be worn once a year if the team wants to. Honestly, if we went full time to those jerseys with regular silver pants I wouldn't complain.

Throwback Thursday. Teams playing on TNF showcasing some of the throwbacks uni’s. (Not as a requirement though.) Here’s a few I’d like to see:


(disclaimer- some of these aren’t currently an option due to the one helmet rule, though a change to this rule allowing multiple helmet colors has been proposed, so could be possible in future.)

I'm in the minority but I despise the throwback Pat Patriots uniform. Just too bright for me.

This makes more sense to me. The color rush thing seemed to be invented by someone who didn't care about football.

If they did throwback they could do a whole 'history of the sport' type of thing for true fans. Even book end the games on TV with documentaries or old shows about the franchises that are playing that night.

Agreed. The color rush jersey with white or silver pants would be my 2nd favorite uniform behind the '63 road whites.

I mean, it is a business. I don’t know why it’s so bad for them to try to sell more merch. People say it’s a money grab like it’s some sort of secret.
