OT: JPP traded to Tampa

Pretty nice deal for TB...wow! Alot of dead money for the Giants, over 12 mil. this year. That's batshit crazy!

I’ve seen Tampa have the paper champion look on their roster before. So we’ll see if this works out.

No doubt JPP has played surprisingly well though since his... er... incident.

Their front 7 is probably the best in the league now. I mean Philly’s front 4 is great, but Tampa has great LBs in addition to a great front.

Whoa, explosive trade. That cap hit just blows me away...

(couldn't help it...I'll show myself out)

Meanwhile the Patriots will still need 10 seconds to get to the QB.

(Not that I want Pierre-Paul and his contract)

We've confirmed that JPP didn't give a 3 finger salute on his way out of town.

What team compares favourably to NE in terms of record & championships in recent memory ?

Hate seeing a Defensive player go and the Patriots not being in the mix.

Yeah, it’s great that we go 19-0 every season, no need for any improvement.

To highlight the need for the front seven to be improved. At least I don't go around randomly insulting other people whose opinion I disagree with.

jpp's cap hit is 12.5 million this year.

Meanwhile the patriots have less then 10 million in capspace

I am not suggesting there is no room for improvement. I am, however, advocating for BB’s roster management strategies. They include avoiding contracts like JPPs and avoiding (as much as possible) players who put fireworks ahead of health.

danny shelton, Jason mccourty, Adrian Clayborne, Hightower off of IR

The patriots HAVE attempted to make improvements.

The team this year is different then the team last year, So using last years team as a metric(needing 10 seconds to get to the QB) is invalid and deflategate non-science level stupid.

I did,

but i had to google translate it from "WAHHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHHHH" first.

Did you notice that the patriots have made 3 signings to the defense 2 of which are on the D line to help with the passrush?
