Report: Jets Interested In Signing Malcolm Butler In Free Agency
So, hypothetically, let's say BB was right, and Butler is lousy. What a better place for him to land than the Jets. Of course they would want to get him and "stick it to the Pats."
Who cares. He was gone either way which makes the decision to not play him in the super bowl even more baffling.
I think my 10,000th post belongs nowhere else but here. (since the thread topic gets derailed anyways. )
It’s been a lot of fun posting here. Best NFL forum there is. Here’s to another 10!
I’ve done my part. I’ve got 800 posts and probably 5% of them have gone into this thread. If everyone pitches in we can make this the longest thread in forum history. It's gonna be a hell of a story!
I can't remember how long the thread went on a few years ago concerning getting the 6th pick overall for the immortal ryan mallet. And then their the adam seward thread, that was pretty long too.If everyone pitches in we can make this the longest thread in forum history. It's gonna be a hell of a story!

He was our worst CB, statistically. I didn't really realize it either, but the numbers don't lie. Why his him missing practice or being limited with the flu, AND all the peripheral things with him, making it "baffling"?
The only reason why you and others are going on and on about this is because Butler lost it and started sobbing like a baby.
He was the last CB we had, but he wasn't deemed ready to start. Nothing more, nothing less.
I guess BB should have benched him outright for Jon Jones earlier in the year, eh?
