OT: Did Baseball just reclaim #1?

Then irony of Defamegate is that when Brady retires, the NFL will plummet like the post-Jordan NBA. Maybe more so, because Brady might be the most polarizing and obsessed-over player in US sports history.

In many ways the trolls will miss him almost as much as we will, maybe more since we will have a lifetime's worth of great memories and they will have to find another boogieman to blame their team's failure on

I love the bullpen cart.

It's 1977 all over again...

Bring back these unis while they're at it...could use some Fred Lynn as well

What's a bullpen? Is this something they keep the bulls in prior to the running?

I miss Peyton. Having a worthy opponent that gives the games extra meaning is a huge part of what makes watching sports amazing.

The Steelers just don't cut it as a nemesis because they can't beat us.

Reclaim #1..? Baseball needs to work hard just to reclaim #2.

Baseball will need more than a gimmick to make itself popular again..
Currently it just behind the sport of watching grass grow, in terms of popularity.. a bullpen cart will not add more viewers.

OMG Freddy Lynn was my favorite Red Sox player ever! The way he threw his handsome self into the Green Monster with abandon! Sigh...

Out of the four major sports, baseball is definitely number four in watchability.

One of the few sports that's the same on both TV and the Radio.

The way they mess around with goofy uni's throughout the season, they really ought to have some games with these 70's

That thing got a stereo in it?

Or an 8-track?

Are they restoring that very one that's been hidden away in the abandoned shed near the scoreboard at Fenway?

I really don't know why they got rid of them. Did the team think that Bob Stanley would experience weight loss by jogging to the mound as opposed to a ride on the cart?
