Definitely interested to hear what was up with Butler. If he was benched all game for something other than health I'll agree with the hot takes about it being a bad call.
I honestly don't see any scenario where it's justified.

Hell of a game, that. Thanks for all the great commenting and posting around here this past season. Personally, I'm gonna take sometime off and take care of family issues and work out my frustrations at the YMCA pool. Be back in a couple weeks or so.

Looking forward to the draft, and seeing who the next man up in the coaching staff is gonna be.

Hang on a sec while I get my hat and I'll walk out with ya. Recrimination Nation really isn't my thing.

If anybody needs me, I'll be over in the Draft Forum for the next 3 months.

Im not that mad at losing as much as another goat performance goes to waste. How many times playoff games did brady bail us out of in the last 4 years. 2014 against Baltimore and Seattle, last year against atl, and they expect 42 points tonight. F***ing disgraceful, these clowns on d do not deserve to share a locker room with brady. And the amazing thing is he will NEVER say that, he’ll probably take the blame instead. Thats how incredible this guy is

Both teams played 60 minutes. Have to tip my hat to Philly. They made plays and took advantage of our mistakes. It's gonna suck until training camp but hell, we got there. 30 other teams failed

Man Brady was so good. Same with Danny and Gronk. I love those guys. Sheesh this stings.

Ha...hahahahahaha...WHAT?!

He racked up some yards and made some good throws, but I think you will hear him say he left stuff out there......especially in the 1st half

All in all, the defense is vastly undermanned

Let the people overjoyed at being able to say 'I told you so' have their moment, they don't get all that many with this team.

There is NO bright side in this loss. Zero. You can't take these SB appearances for granted, especially with Tom on the wrong side of 40. He played one of the best games of his life tonight and was let down in an absolutely epic way. This one hurts bad. Real bad.

The Giants were the gold standard. But this Philly team is by far the worst Brady has ever faced in a Superbowl. It's a joke that this coaching staff couldn't get it done.

Even with the terrible defensive performance, we had the ball back with 2:10 left, 1 timeout, trailing by 6. Brady got strip-sacked and that basically ended the game. I thought for sure we were going to see a patented go-ahead drive. It sucks, but it is what it is.

I think Butler could have
covered Agholor.

Maybe you should become a coach then.

I mean if you think you have a better handle on this than BB who saw Butler in practice for an entire year while you only saw game action then you should really think about it.

I am sure whatever happened with Butler will come out eventually. Until then I will go with the opinion of the GOAT coach.

Yeah, bill. Thanks for everything you've done for the franchise... But if you seriously thought this was the best move for us to win, I think its time to retire.

The refs determined the game.

Those calls weren’t TDs in the regular season. Hotly debated.

They are now?

Philly defense getting that turnover was game over. We had the ball in Toms wheelhouse and we couldn't protect him. Coulda been another one for the books. Oh well. Draft some defense and get back to winning next year.

Yeah, I felt very confident that the Pats would win. With that much time and Brady, I thought it was perfectly set up. That strip sack is basically the Butler INT. I now know how the Seahawks felt...

The thing is as historically bad the D was I though they may have had it in them to make just one stop. Guess that was too much to ask.

You don’t have a single LB that would make the teams of the early 2000s

The Butler decision is like the Welker/Jets decision which also cost the team.
