Well actually I was treated by the colorado Rockies, in their training room..but I agree brown has better care than us...it felt like I got shot...but mine was torn top and bottom of the muscle.....

What did you do? Trip up the stairs while in their stadium?
No, seriously, how'd you manage to get treated by the Rockies?

All the Brady criticism was ridiculous, but the defense deserved their negging.

Brady had some issues and this game was definitely not Brady's finest. Don;t care about the Brady sucks crowd's hysteria but I'm also not sure why it is such a taboo thing to say Brady was off for significant portions of this game.

Brady seriously stepped it up on the last drive and that was critical to the win.

There is nothing wrong with the actual play at the end of the game but Ben should never have thrown that into 5 white shirts.....out of the end zone and kick the frigid ball....if I was a steeler fan I would be furious.

Why did we bench Jonathan Jones? He's been one of the best slot/CB3s in the NFL this year. Wonder if he plays in a potential rematch.

idk. you have guys jumping over the scram holding the ball for less than a second before its batted away from them but just enough to cross the imaginary end line and thats a TD and this guy firmly catches the ball, falls down on his knee, crosses the imaginary line w ball in his hands and that's not good enough..

something's gotta give..

He caught the ball, stretched out and needed to survive the ground for it to be considered a catch. I am sorry but ever since the Dez Bryant non-catch players should be aware that stretching out comes with the risk that you have to survive the ground for the catch to be completed.

The endzone and everything else are totally irrelevant in this case because he didnt yet have possession of the ball when he broke the plane. If he doesnt stretch out, but lands on his knee and then rolls over into the endzone before he can be downed it is a TD.

The rule is a joke and needs to be adjusted but at the very least it has been applied pretty consistently over the last 2-3 years.

You're opening another can of worms though. What if a player knocks it out of a player's hands before he makes a football move and falls to the ground?

If you get rid of the rule that you have to complete a catch all the way through, then when is it a catch? Presumably, at some point when the receiver is in the air. But if that's true, knocking it out of his hands can cause a fumble. So when is it called a fumble?

They can change the rule, but it doesn't mean it is going to solve controversies.

did a day with the team, batting, infield play and outfield play...took off running from center field and BANG right calf blew up...I went down like a sniper victim....ankle filled with blood, couldn’t walk...it was jacked up

The oline is having issues. That to me is the crux right now.

It was. I called it on the first replay and was telling everyone here 'that is not a catch (assuming his hand wasn't under the ball)'. I understand the rule may not be liked, however, the rule is clear: when you catch the ball falling you must maintain control through the process for it to be a catch and possession. That wasn't even close, the knucklehead receiver stretched out before it was a possession and when the ball hit the ground it clearly, 100% moved. Case closed, 100% correct call, receiver was falling as he caught it and it must be maintained through the process.Bad rule? Maybe, probably, but that is irrelevant to this play now. That play is entirely on the receiver for not making sure the catch is made and/or making sure when he reached out to cross the plane it is fully maintained/doesn't move. His dramatic stretch was unneeded and was one of two inexplicable plays that cost the Steelers the game (the other being Ben throwing into such heavy traffic).

I was just confused by it all!

Any info on burkhead? Maybe I missed it?

There is a difference between RUNNING the ball in and COMPLETING the catch. Crossing the goal line ends the play in the first case, but not the second. And the officials have been very consistent on this. Remember the question about Cooks’ TD vs Hou? There they did not see the ball move for sure when he fell.

He wasnt benched but there was just no matchup for him in this game. You he is not tall enough to play against Bryant and not physical enough to play against Schuster. He would have been a good backup against Brown because of DMac/Harmon helping out over the top on that matchup.

And this is why we are winning so many of those close games.

This is why BB is the GOAT and our coaching staff is the best in business. Does their gameplan work every week ? Nope, the other team prepares and gets paid as well. But way more often than not in the last 15+ years we have been prepared substantially better than our opponent.

I cant wait for DYJ3 next fall with its own segment on this.
Really @Pats1989 doesnt seem to think we win any games.
