Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports the New England Patriots released CB Dante Wesley Saturday, Sept. 1. The move means the Chicago Bears will not receive the Patriots' seventh-round draft pick from their previous trade.

Not anymore if we can't Franchise him - unless you mean during the season before the deadline but that's not happening.

I agree, I wouldn't be shocked if they re-sign him if he doesn't sign, or get claimed, elsewhere.
