The way Bill works is just so interesting to watch. I've followed this team closely since I was 12 (40+ years) and I really have no idea what he's going to do. I don't always agree with it but its hard to argue with the results.
I hope we somehow bring Hightower back. We have the money to do so and if we don't, I'd love to hear from BB as why he didn't resign him (even though I suspect all we'd get is the standard, "doing what's best for the team").

Getting Harmon and Branch back is so big. Retaining HT would really make it a homerun day but I have this sneaky suspicion that HT is gone. Hope I'm wrong!

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Hicks is one decision that Belichick would like to have back. Oh well. The team won the Super Bowl so it's hard to fault the decision too much.

Lombardi said it on the SB post-mortem podcast on The Ringer that the Pats read the market wrong and screwed the situation with Hicks up. He then also said that he is sure BB learned his lesson from it and Branch will be signed this year.

He was right.

Good. Brown unfortunately didn't look like he was ready to take that next step in 2016 and Branch was a monster in his role. I'm glad to see things going well with both him and Harmon.

Malcom Brown regressed late year which was kinda dissapointing for a second year player. Valentine played better than Brown when it mattered thank goodness we had Branch.
