Goodell could screw up a bowel movement.

Book might detail how Kraft's influence has declined, enabling clown owners to "help" the commissioner/clown.

ESPN writers? Ha! I'd expect them to ballwash Goodell and use ESPN's 30 minute puff piece profile of Goodell as source material.

Doesn't any book written about Goodell have to be titled 'Integrity!'. For a real writer the title is used as a way to excoriate Goodell. For ESPN they actually will devote chapters to showing why Goodell is a shining example of integrity.
Alternate title: 'Laugh Clown Laugh'

Another "softball book" .. the fact that they work for ESPN speaks volumes about how hard hitting it will be .. cannot be more part of the establishment if you are working for ESPN, do not piss off Roger..

So here is how this will go they will go to owner A and ask them to tell them off the record info on Owner B &C, then got to Owner B and ask them for off the record information on Owner C & D... then in the end there will be lots of qualified "according to sources" information.

Crown Archetype to publish: Powerball by Don Van Natta Jr & Seth Wickersham | The Crown Publishing GroupThe Crown Publishing Group

Said Boczkowski, “We’re thrilled to have two of the most highly respected, award-winning journalists tell the riveting behind-the-scenes story of the real NFL. Tracing the power struggles within the league to the impact they have on how the game is played, POWERBALL will reveal the truth behind this billion-dollar industry, pulling back the curtain on how the modern-day NFL really works.”

Said Wickersham, “The NFL is the sport that the public cares about most and knows about least. It’s a gift to be afforded the time and space to explore how the league works behind closed doors—and how shadow wars in the league office trickle down to the games on Sunday.”

The book will discuss the daily struggles of the heroic Roger Goodell investigating the evil Cheatriots on a weekly basis, and having to avoid their horrible antics becoming major media scandals. It'll go over Dumb and Dumber-gate, where the Pats snuck Turbo Lax into Donovan McNabb's sideline water, causing him to puke during a two-minute drill. It'll discuss Nipple-gate, where the Pats sent an exposed Janet Jackson to the Panthers locker room during halftime to distract the players. It'll discuss Mission Impossible-gate, where the Pats snuck into media day at the latest Super Bowl, and managed to quickly get ahold of the Falcons offensive playbook and replace it with Mike Martz'.

Our hero Roger will be seen defending the shield against such attacks on the game's integrity. We'll see him calmly work the phones calling each owner to discuss these situations, talk them off the ledge, so that he could hide all of these scandals for the best interest of the league. It'll cover the most trying time for Roger, when the Pats sent covert agents to New Jersey on Thanksgiving to tell Fireman Ed that there is no Santa Claus, causing him to resign his post and cry out the stadium. It's such a heartwarming scene to see all the other owners come together for Roger, similar to the ending of It's a Wonderful Life.

Are you Don or Seth?

What a f'n joke.

Over/under on the number of new cheating allegations, unsourced and unproven, of course?
