Alright, so this thread isn't unveiling anything anything we didn't already know but may put some new perspective on things.
Obiouvsly the NFL has changed a lot since 2002..........with more emphasis on defense pass interferece & illegal contact.......not to mention the chnages to the 'roughing the passer" penalties.
Here's a stat that may brign it to life a little more...........
In 2002, Tom Brady's first full season as a starter, he LED THE LEAGUE with 28 TD passes.
In 2016, Tom Brady missed four games and still threw for 28 TD passes (on a team that had a running back gobble up another 17 TDs!!)
Another fun fact is that 28 TD passes matches Drew Bledsoe's single season high.
