1. V is the Roman numeral for 5 or in this case the 5th championship we're gunning for.
2. Vendetta is defined as
1 : blood feud. 2 : an often prolonged series of retaliatory, vengeful, or hostile acts or exchange of such acts.
...sounds like our relationship with the league.
3. The 2005 film V for Vendetta. Was about a masked protaginist who used acts of terror against a Facsist, police state government. In the case of the Patriots, Tom is the man who's unleashing acts of terror on the field against "The 31" and Goodells facsist administration.
