Rams reach one-year deal with DT Dominique Easley, source says
The Los Angeles Rams have reached agreement on a one-year deal with former Patriots DT Dominique Easley, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

I did you the favor of deleting the BSPN link. You're welcome.

Good luck to him ... I hope he salvages a year or two being somewhat healthy.

Why? He's an immature doofus who squandered his chance here. He probably will be so distracted by the craziness of Los Angeles that he'll never see the field.

Easley's signing with the Rams today will not change the Patriots 2016 cap number at all. Any 2017 credit for the Patriots will depend on how much he gets paid by the Rams in 2016. Maximum 2017 credit for Dominique Easley = $1,083,959. Minimum 2016 salary for Easley=600K. Easley would not qualify for comp pick since he does not have 4 accrued seasons AND he was cut.

What a waste all-around.

16 GS, 63 combined tackles, 8.5 sacks, 3 FF, 1 FR, 1 Int, 1 TD, 4 PD's, Pro-Bowl alternate.

I'm not sure I totally buy the rumors ... nor do I believe it was totally health ... somewhere in the middle.

If it works out, St.Louis DL is utterly absurd. If it doesn't, it's still very strong. Low risk, high reward. The question is, none of us really know what Easley the person and the teammate is like. That's the big issue.

Field Yates adds to what you say...

But the problem with this is without their coaching taking a major uptick, they'll be pretty mediocre. Seems like they've signed a lot of "interesting" guys over there in LA like Tyler Higbee and Duke Williams. Many assult/battery/etc charges abound them. I doubt Jeff Fisher can change anything there.

Jeff Fisher is known for his strict no killing-no raping policy. I see this as a good fit for Easley to turn it around.
But dog fighting is allowed.

I'm still not 100% clear on his health. We know he's not durable but does he have a degenerative knee condition? Is it a matter of time before he's just done?
