I am shocked.

Kanya "Bubba" West..

Shrimp is the fruit of the sea....

I know everything there is to know about the shrimpin' business...

There are 1000s of ways to prepare shrimp.

Roast shrimp, baked shrimp, bbq shrimp, shrimp salad, shrimp scampi, shrimp creole....

Brock Vereen may get the bump from the practice squad. I like him in a nickel CB/safety role. I think he could be a poor mans Honey Badger
Honey Badger has become a very good player.

Leonard Johnson broke his leg in early September and got waived because of it. I imagine that leg is healed just fine by now.
Depends on the fracture but I agree. If it wasn't healed and he wasn't in quasi football shape they would not have signed him.

Fauria too, from the practice squad. Poor guy got a whole lot of hype in a hurry here.

(Also from Kyed's Twitter)

Visions of a four-TE set.

Can't get em all....

Agreed. They took a long hard look at him in the pre-draft process. There must have been something they weren't sure about.

He went at 3.3, I suspect they thought he may go a little later due to his issues. In retrospect I wish we'd taken him where we took Dobson but I bet they hoped to get him with the Logan Ryan or During Harmon pick.

Mr. Melvin was basically a warm body filling in until it was determined that some of the players we already had were better.

BB missed out there.

He sure did.

I think Ifo Ekpre-Olomu was a poor mans Honey Badger this year. I have a hard time complaing because we got Roberts, but considering they cut Kyle Arrington, he would've been a much better pick the A.J derby.

He has a totally shredded knee (ACL + dislocated patella). Who knows if he will play a single relevant down in the NFL. Can't fault them for not going there.

Makes sense. The Pats were playing Chung over him as the nickel corner, which is telling of exactly how bad he is in coverage.
Depends on your vantage point. I'd say part of it is also that Chung has gotten better in coverage (by a mile). He's still not perfect and never turns to look for the ball, it seems, but he's far better than the player who spent the first part of his career here (and Philly for that matter).

Hes turned for the the ball more this year than the last 3 years combined.

I actually think he did a better job in that regard last season than he's done this season, though. I have not looked at any data, but my recollection is that he has been called for more PI's (bogus or not) to this point than the same point last season. Though I acknowledge that different seasons and different personnel is not always the best comparison.

Maybe. The numbers show that Chung is on a pace to have about the same year as he did last year.

Either way hes been pretty good.
