Gift of Gronk

the work that gronk has put into in preparation to play football for the pats ever since he was drafted has always been clear

the assumptions based on footage on a dance floor are ignorant at best

the perception was not developed..........the people who revere the 'patriot way' as some sort of gospel were all over his case back then (including yourself)

too bad the lot of you are misinformed on what the patriot way is
You are out of line.

no.....you are out of line
You are accusing me of saying that in the past that I questioned Gronks commitment. I never said such a thing.

As I said, you are out of line.

You questioned his off field personality...in the same manner as you did earlier with the stupid comment about him being talked to

Btw......I don't care if you think I'm out of line.....wtf does that even mean? You gonna put me back in line? You're out of line for saying such silliness

In fact, I think at some point you thought much more highly of hernandez's attitude.......how'd that work out?

Go back and read what I wrote.

Now you are accusing me of thinking AH was a stellar fellow.

You're an ass.

I went back and found a thread you started about that...... I will refresh your memory the next time I'm on a computer......it's a fact

You also put energy into talking down some people who started expressing that gronk > Coates ...... They seemed to know what they were looking at while you require hindsight .... We can have some fun with this later .... Maybe you should work in your excuses

Go for it. Call me out. I really don't care.

Gronk is better than Coates. Is that a mystery?

Right .... Let's just leave it with the notion that gronk ever needed a talking to as utter nonsense

I asked the poster a question to better understand his/her position. You took it as I bated him/her which articulated my PoV on Gronk.

You are jumping to conclusions. You need to relax.

You you lead them.....I'm relaxed......I'm not the one who name called and got all defensive

Do you think the Pats had a convo w Gronk and made him aware how his public actions might be perceived and how it may reflect on him the NEP?

Don't fight the revisionist history train. I absolutely love Gronk and the laughter of those kids don't lie but throwing his body around when he was injured being publicly drunk a lot and taking pictures with porn stars was a legitimate concern.

He has allayed all those concerns now, IMO, but his judjment was justifiably questioned then.

Now I'll stand here and take the brickbats.

He also isn't doing somersaults and landing on his head and neck anymore, he's much more careful with his body while still being tremendously athletic.

You accused me of saying and implying things that I did not do.

If you do it, then I will defend myself.

Why wouldnt I?

His partying didn't "create perceptions". People formed their own, wrong perceptions based on images of his partying.

Saying his partying "creates perceptions" doesn't necessarily place the fault on Gronk.

‘Rob, you are one of the hardest workers I’ve seen, and you’re always working hard when you’re here, but when you’re not here … I don’t know about your craziness off the field, the messing,’”

The bottom line is, who cares? I don't give a **** whether his partying creates perceptions (which are wrong) or people just form their own wrong perceptions. I'm sure Bill doesn't LOVE it, but he realizes that this is how Gronk relaxes and winds down. He works HARD and taking it away from him would probably adversely affect his enjoyment of a football season.

It's his avenue of chilling out, Mayo has his trucks and Gronk likes to party it up.

The statement "His actions create perceptions" clearly displays that his actions are the root cause of others' wrong perceptions. The inability to grasp this concept is one of the fundamental problems of our society.

How profound...

Tell me, what else would be creating these perceptions? Do people magically conjure them up?

Saying his actions create perceptions is fine, how on earth does it imply that he is at fault. It still leaves open the fact that said perceptions formed by people are inherently wrong.
