NYPost writer Tweets that Pats fans should commit suicide???

Completely harmless.... he just wants us to join the Jets fans' annual "7th week of the season party."

But seriously, that's a pretty 'bold' opinion to be made public.

It's the New York Post, aka Kitty Littler Liner.

seems immature.

He is the most immature 56 yr old writer. He shouldn't respond to any person who is trolling him. He can't claim high road when he attacks his followers.

This guy is a writer and the best he can come up with is "Shut the F up yourself, douche" - no wonder he has to resort to the childish crap he does, otherwise he wouldn't get any readers whatsoever considering his obvious lack of wit and imagination.
Twitter, in general, has not been a good thing for media people.

It's amazing how serious some people take a game where guys run around with a ball. I listened to an interview this guy had. He barely knows how to get a sentence out. What do you expect from a "writer" from a rag like the Post, that makes TMZ look like a legit news outlet. This guys life will be made miserable by Pats fans. Pats fans are the wrong base to mess with. He might consider suicide by the time they get done with him.

Coming from the post does this really surprise anyone

Here's a link to one of the suicide related tweets:

Hubbuch also tweeted something in the spring that, if footballs fans were prison gangs, Patriots fans would the skinheads.

We all know the NFL can lean on media members not to say negative things about the league. There are more general situations, but the NFL telling Robert Klemko not to mention Cris Carter's "fall guy" speech is a recent example. It's interesting that they haven't said anything to media people about not insulting entire fan bases.

Hubbuch doesn't work for the NFL.

And then... return as the ultimate 12th men -- ghosts, soaring up to block enemy field goals, holding players, aiding Patriots with tackles, guiding Brady's throws into receivers' hands.

Why, yes, I am in the Halloween spirit.

"Hello boys! I'm baaaack!"

I saw this moron, a while ago, said something along the lines that he is just kidding when he tweets, and he is allowed to act unprofessional, because only his published articles are "his official voice." Here's a thought: why don't you try acting like a professional all the time, rather than a small amount of the time. Don't blame people for getting confused.

Honestly, there is something seriously wrong with guys like Doyel and Hubbach. Journalists who actually hate a team and fanbase as much as they do is scary. Severe lack of self-esteem and confidence.

Apparently they do not subscribe to their profession's unwritten rule that sportswriters 'should not cheer in the press box'.

Yes, technically they are not at the game and in the press box when they write, but the spirit of that journalist's code of conduct remains intact - or in this case, broken into a million pieces.
