Maybe Solder gets an extension. That frees up some cap space. I'd cut Cleveland. I think Branch stays as he's the only Siliga run blocking type. Although Branch might be cut when chris jones returns. Wendell might be a cut too. And cut McClain.

I'd be shocked if Wendell were a cut. The O-line solidified last season when he and Stork played together. Not only is his play at guard important, we need a back-up for Stork (his concussion history REALLY concerns me). Much better to take the hit by cutting Branch in the middle of the D-line, where Brown looks as though he could contribute.

Just trying to make a point about Kraft's decisions and how they impact the future of the team. IMO, losing the draft pick leaves a considerable "talent gap" that Belichick somehow has to fill.

Kraft does not make personnel decisions. Belichick makes all personnel decisions.

I don't disagree with you. I'm just exploring different scenarios depending on how the domino falls. So much of this is dependent on other areas of the team; how much a player is willing to be paid, how much playing time they want, what schemes and roles are they comfortable playing in. We just don't have that information. So I'm just throwing those things out there.
