BTW, that picture in the link is the moment Lane's forearm or wrist snapped.

Deflatgate great for the NFL viewership numbers. And 2016 rates for a 30 second commercial slot for Super Bowl 50 will be based on those 2015 record number of eye balls.

The NFL wouldn't have.......Na!!!!!

Glad to know a major chunk of America watched us solidify legacies and crush Seattles dreams.

This simply cannot be.
We were lectured repeatedly by marketing mavens that Deflategate publicity was bad and ratings would not surge. Big bucks for adds next February.

In all seriousness I could see a possible decline in viewership next Feb if the Patriots are in it. The rest of the country is sick & tired of two decades of ass kickings by BB. Gotta luv it!

Still the storyline of Brady & the Pats going for 1 for the thumb in San Francisco is a amazing one! Love Em or hate em! Win lose or draw New England gives the NFL a very entertaining show every time they're in the SB!

Not surprised. It was a great game and the half time show was very entertaining as well.

Last years Super Bowl had 111.5 million viewers, and 108.7 million the year before. Super Bowl viewership has been steadily growing as the NFL has been growing, in spite of Goodell. Maybe Deflategate, Pats-as-the-villains angle helped boost ratings to the 120.8 million, but I can't believe it will be good for the league in the long run.
