Super Bowl Tickets

I bought 2 tickets to superbowl 36 on the street before the game for face value ($400 each). The worst thing is the tickets were part of a group of rams fans. It wasnt so bad during the final drive though.

Looks like I'll be trying to buy mine on game day. I'll definetely keep you guys updated who are in the same boat as I am. Maybe we can help each other out if we find good deals.

I checked monday morning right after the AFC championship game and they were 1500 on some sites, now they are up to basically 4k minimum, I have never ever seen any super bowl at any point leading up to the game be 4k for nose bleeds, and for this one they have been stuck at 4k for the past week or so, at one point yesterday dropping to 3500. This is crazy. Most super bowls settle down fo nose bleeds around 1900, will there be no such luck this year unless we grabbed them right after the AFC championship? Never seen anything like this

We already have a thread on this but I just thought the same thing.. Ugh...

I'm def going too.. Sucks

I really want to go but have held off on plane tickets (from NYC). I can stay at a friend's but just need to see some sort of downward movement before I commit to heading down there. Unfortunately, all I see is prices going further up. Hoping tonight and tomorrow will see some downward movement.

I think I've paid as much as $2,500 for a SB ticket, which is ridiculous in itself. I could not see myself ever paying more than that. (Which is why I'm staying home this time after attending the last four Pats appearances, as much as I'd love to be there again.)

I'm leaving tomorrow night... I have flight and hotel already ... Just need the ticket lol

Mods can you combine these two threads?

Don't get it at all. Unless people are buying tickets just to cheer against the Pats...

A lot of us are going to be rolling the dice come Sunday morning! I need to find a bar that's close to the stadium in case I don't get one.

cheapest this morning on stubhub is 4400+, seems to be increasing than decreasing for now.

5300 is now the cheapest on stubhub w/ 800+ tickets left. thought they would start dropping by now

Yeah it's crazy... You have to think stub hub isn't showing all of the tickets they have

I'm heading down Saturday morning from NYC and am hoping to land something in the 24 hour lead up to the game if I don't wind up with something reasonable priced between now and then. Been to something like eight games this year, and there's really no way (or at least I'm telling myself) that I'm missing this.

I'm for now just looking for myself. Would anyone be interested in teaming up in the event that we stumble upon leads, or wind up needing to buy a pair? I'm going to do everything possible to get in, but there's just no way I'm dropping 11k on a football game. I've never seen it like this before.

Thanks!

What are they waiting for? It's almost the Thursday before the game.

Prices should start coming down as *a lot* of them weren't released until today (so I heard).

If anyone has a hookup on tickets please let me know. I can offer up a place to stay in return as well...

I'm interested, what's the most you're looking to spend?
