Bill Belichick went ballistic. He didn't even avoid the Spygate question. There was a fight in his voice that wasn't there on Wednesday. He said everything I want to hear.

Please bear with me as I missed the early part. The NFL network host wondered if the new balls psi increase when being prepared (and then measured/approved for 12.5 minimums), and they subsequently lose some psi once they reach the equilibrium condition outside, does that mean the Pats inflated it lower than 12.5 before prepring the ball?

Can anyone who heard the whole PC let me know if the NFL network is incorrect and if yes, why please?

He said it would increase psi by 0.5 from the friction involved with prepping ball. All that !matters is that was within spec when refs measured. And if you can tell 0.5 psi difference you're a liar

Great! thanks for clarifying it. The way that guy said it suggested that the balls are about 10.5 psi (i am using it based on the 2 psi difference that BSPN reported when this blew up), then once prepared go to 12.5 psi, and come back to 10.5. Glad that is only a 0.5 diff. Thanks for clarifying it.
