Hey all,

I got a pair of tickets off of EBay for September 26th vs. the A's.
The tickets say 7:05 pm, but the Red Sox schedule on RedSox.Com says 5:05 PM, although some sources (like maybe the Globe) are reporting a 7:05 PM game.

Anyway, should I be concerned?

The EBay seller has a long-built, basically perfect reputation.
The price was not too good to be true.

I'm just wondering what the deal is.

Your input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sean

P.s., anybody know why it's such an early game?

Usually weekday day games are about travel. The Sox are staying at Fenway after that game, so its not about them; but The A's have to go all the way back across the coast after an extended trip over here. They have a day off between your game and their next; but that day off could easily be fodder for a rain-out makeup. Particularly so since they'll be playing the Angels. A team they'll see 19 times this year, any one of which could be rained out.

Just call the Sox ticket office or fan relations, ask about the time, and see if there's a way to tell if they're legit.

You could start a thread here as well. Lots of traffic at that site. In fact don't be surprised if you get 10 replies in a hour. You can even start a Pats thread anywhere you want to over there without getting flamed in fact

Sounds to me like a legit deal. Tickets are printed a several weeks (months?) before the season but MLB is always making last-minute adjustments to accomodate networks, teams, travel issues, etc.
