I think you are grossly over reacting. Peyton was funny and self-effacing and frankly, after all those years of getting beat by the Pat's he deserves to gloat a little bit.

nope. "i'm going to work even harder next year to kick y'alls ass again" is definitely a challenge.

Adalius Williams will be humming "cut that meat, cut that meat" when he turns the all america forehead into chopped liver.

I hate Peyton Manning and I'm from New Orleans.I just hate how he's put on this pedal stool.I'd love the Pats to crush the Colts in Indy next season.Peyton still hasn't won @ NE in the playoffs. We''ll know the Pats wouldn't have lost the AFC championship game if it was in New England.

He was laughing when he said it. We sure do have a higher than ever percentage of hardcore humorless and troll like personalities here these days...:violent:

I thought he was good. The NCAA skit was funny.

The monologue thing, eh. Who cares? He was talking to a New York audience.

Yeah, well, the problem with that is NE had a chance to have that game in Foxboro but blew it losing to Indy in November.

I'm a Pat's fan through and through, but honestly, if that little remark bothers you so much, you need to grow a thicker skin.

It is very difficult for me to admit this, but Peyton Manning was HILARIOUS in that United Way skit. That had me laughing for hours.

I agree it is getting pretty hard to sustain the blinding hate.

I'm sure it will come back when the Colts get on a role again next year, and if they beat the PATS in the regular season...

Yes, he was funny last night, it cracked me up... My favorite was his dance in the locker room, had me rolling, BUT, today he is back at enemy number uno...

Actually losing to the Colts in Indy is not "blowing it" - losing to the Jets in Foxboro is, and that's what we did, after spanking them in the Meadowlands earlier in the year. As I look back on the 2006 season that is the game that sticks out in my mind as the one that cost us the Super Bowl - because had we won, we would have had the higher seed, we wouldn't have had to travel to Indy after a tough trip to San Diego and a tough game against the very physical Chargers, and we wouldn't have had to play on Indy's turf in front of their crowd.

That's not to take anything away from the Colts -- or from Peyton Manning, who I used to laugh at because of his whiny faces and gestures after a bad play or an adverse call, but who has finally earned my true respect.
