Ian Rapaport just reported that the Patriots are interested in trading for Revis.

Which makes a lot of sense to me.

You trade for him, you control him and his restructure.

You threaten to cut him at the start of the season, or to carry his $16m for a year, and you see if it clarifies his mind a little bit about a $13m a year deal.

Trading for him by giving up a 6th or 7th isn't a bad idea.

If Dobson, Amendola, and Gronk stay healthy, the Patriots offense will be much improved. I think Amendola is highly underrated. He was a BEAST with the Rams when healthy.
