Post Combine Forum Mock Draft

Sorry, again. Robey was selected in the first round.

DOH'. I didnt' check the first round thinking he wouldn't go that high.

OK Lamarcus Joyner CB FSU.

If the draft really falls that way, the Pats are in SERIOUS danger of not having a draftable tight end to take. :sad face:

There's still some guys on the board that have some talent. I think the more accurate statment is if the draft falls like this the Patriots won't have a TE who can come in and contribute immediately.

I knew the Panther's biggest need was a CB but I so wanted to draft a certain player that would drive Mayo over the edge. Somebody could draft him for the 49ers. :singing:

49ers select: C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE, Iowa

Pats on the clock

The San Diego Chargers select: Keith McGill, CB, Utah

The New Orleans Saints are on the clock.

You're about 4 picks too late. SF is on the clock at 61.

Edit: Nevermind. Mayo beat me to it.

fixed......

Patriots can go a number of ways here. I think we're going to see quite a few names brought up

Two names that jump out at me that are still available are :

-Scott Crichton
-Joel Bitonio

Everytime I see a name that I think we can take, I look back and he's already been picked. lol

Wow, Odell Beckham still available...great value at number 62. Don't think Wide receiver is a high need area but he is someone that I always see going first round.

Get your votes in, the Patriots are OTC

Taking Shazier in round one kills Christian Jones which is the person I really want to take. I want to advocate trading down again but know it isn't flying.

Of who's left at a position of need I prefer Martin to Swanson or Richburg although with all of them left I'm inclined to roll the dice that one survives to the 3rd round. I don't think Moncrief or Baptiste make it through so I'm more for choosing them. I like Ellis a lot but he should be there with the third pick. Sutton is that pain in the butt prospect who flashes but I just don't love his consistency but felt inclined to list him nonetheless.

Donte Moncrief WR
Marcus Martin C
Stanley Jean-Baptiste CB
Justin Ellis DT
Will Sutton DT

Beckham went @26 to the Browns

Just a reminder for everyone. Make three votes in order for who you'd like to be the Patriots pick. These will garner 5 points, 3 points and i point respectively. First prospect to 35 points is the pick. My picks:

1. Donte Moncrief
2. Joel Bitonio
3. Travis Swanson.

My picks - K. Martin, UNC, Baptiste, Richberg. I want Zumwalt in the 3rd

2. Stanley Jean-Baptiste CB
3. Marcus Martin C

My picks - K. Martin, UNC, Baptiste, Richberg. I want Zumwalt in the 3rd

I don't really like Martin in the second, but considering what's off the board, it's not a bad shout at all.
