The Dolphins fans are talking themselves into believing they can beat the Patriots, and then you get to Post #19 by a guy named MonstBlitz:

I firmly believe the Patriots are cheating again somehow, not even kidding. Bill Belichick is a great coach, but the second half adjustments (especially against Denver and Houston) are just too suspicious. I just hope whatever it is they are doing only works in their home stadium. Call me crazy but this team is up to no good again.

LOL. This stuff just cracks me up. Surely, the coach and staff of a team that's been to five Super Bowls in the 2000s and his HOF quarterback cannot figure out how to deal with the Rob Chudzinski, Wade Phillips and Jack Del Rio to rally from behind without cheating.

Sure, the Pats caught some big breaks from the refs against the Browns, but that stuff balances out over the course of the season (Jets & Panthers anyone?), but there is no indication the Patriots cheated.

I guess it's nice to have an excuse before you put on your Marino jersey and head oout for the game.

Careful: New England still dangerous even without Gronk

Again?? What was the no good we were up to before? Filming from a spot that wasn't a booth or any of the other hundreds of places where you can still see signals?

Given the difference between a touchdown drive and a punt is often one 3rd down conversion in the wrong place, saying the Pats MUST be cheating because suddenly they're scoring is like saying, "I flipped this coin 6 times and it kept coming up tails, so you MUST have rigged it somehow because the next 6 came up heads!"

Gosh, some moron on the internet makes a baseless accusation. The End Times are nigh.

Unfortunately for him whatever Bill is up to worked quite well in Houston too :rocker:

i like to call it Rocky balboaing.

Spend the first half getting pounded on, letting the other team use up all their energy and excitement, get them overconfident, and then in the second half yell adrian a lot and just beat them into submission before landing the knockout blow with 2 seconds left on the clock.

The adjustments in the broncos game was the Pats not turning the ball over. If they don't turn it over 3 times Pats win that game by 10-13 points.

What an idiot. Clearly the patriots can cheat on the road. The texans game was in Houston. Show some respect ffs.

Agreed. If the game was on the moon, the Pats could find a way to cheat.

in other news, the patriots were accused of faking a game vs the jets on the moon this week, after tinfoil hat wearing neckbeards on the internet zoomed in on what looks like a cloud in the distance.

Worry not Phin fans the mystery has been solved!

Gridiron Rope-A-Dope!

In fairness, Dolphins fans have seen their team consistently collapse in second half of games this year. So they are conditioned to think that teams do not get better in the second half.

Somehow the taping in the wrong area and the Tomase accusation that was proven to be false gets mangled together and all these other idiot haters remember is the Pats cheated by taping signals so they know what's coming.
I still see Rams fans *****ing about the super bowl being cheated away from them. If not for that idiot Tomase the public in general would have a different memory of how things went down, the hate would be there but not for the same reason. For that I'll never forgive that tub of lard.

I was trying to explain a similar thing about Roulette to a guy. He seemed to think that because Black came up several times in a row, that Red MUST be due. Thing is, every time you spin the wheel it's a new game, so whatever happened previously has no impact whatsoever. It could come up Red 30 times in a row, but the next spin, Black will still have only a 50% chance of hitting.

:D

Yeah, everybody can see Brady has just been padding his 4th quarter comeback stats.

Rams fans aren't the only ones. I've recently heard media people such as Mike Francesca and Lou Merloni casually refer to the taped Rams walkthrough as an accepted and proven fact. It's similar to many people believing Danny Ainge bit Tree Rollins instead of the other way around.

Does anyone else find it comical how confident these guys are about this game? I mean I can understand thinking your team has a shot to win, especially given that Miami has been playing fairly well lately, but most of those posters think there is absolutely, positively NO chance that they lose. It's bizarre.
