With Sopoaga on-board and Kelly sure to return after the bye week how will Belichick and Patricia divvy up the playing time at defensive tackle?

Which one of the rookies will see the most dramatic decrease in playing time Jones or Vellano?

Seeing that Jones played 100% of snaps last week, I'd guess Vellano.

Vellano played 71 of 80, the snaps Vellano came off for were pass rushing situations. Chris Jones could lose snaps on early downs if they consider Kelly, Sopoaga and Vellano to be better run stoppers.

I would expect Vellano to lose the most reps.

To out it another way, with everyone healthy, I expect Chris Jones to be one the field lots more than Vellano.

Agree, the guy was still limping a week ago, I don't see 2 more weeks enough time to fully recover and build strength back up.

I think Kelly and jones are both 3 down DT's they will start and see most of the snaps Kelly is much better vs the run then jones is so Sopoaga and Kelly would be the short down DT's

Vellano has put forth a valiant effort and we should be thankful, but Chris Jones looks like a steal. Looks like a real interior rusher.

If only he could grow a couple inches and add a couple dozen pounds. He would be an all pro
