Hes such a lolly-gagger though. BB can turn chix salad out of chix sh#$ but that would be a tall order.

How could we "sign" Moss?

He's under contract with the Raiders.

BB takes players who are smart and have heart. He doesn't typically take high maintenance players. Dillon reformed or was already low maint., the jury is still out. I wish the Moss rumors would just end.

I was all about bringing Moss in for the longest time but then I got to thinking about it. Moss' strong suit is deep routes and Brady's weakness is deep passes. Doesn't sound like a very good combination to me.

If all the Free agents are signed that would represent a deep threat are gone in a month, I would think the Pats would explore the possiblity of getting Randy Moss ... But I would perfer a Donte Stallworth or a Drew Bennet...

then again, maybe Brady was hurt by the fact that he didn't really have a deep threat receiver

I sure hope not.

I think Moss is an idiot. And BB doesn't suffer idiots.

All the arrogance and laziness aside, from a pure football standpoint it makes no sense. He is owed around $20M over the next two years. Between that and Thomas, the Pats would totally be going against their philosophy of spreading money around.

One thing about Moss is he can adjust and go up and get the ball, being taller than most defensive backs. I seem to recall him making a fool out of Tyrone Poole against is a couple years ago.

He isn't exactly our style person. That aside, what he would cost to trade for, and what it would cost to pay him makes the move seem highly unlikely.
